Mobile Dome is C5Prime's answer to a persistent gap in convoy protection: continuous, all-azimuth awareness that doesn't depend on active emissions or heavy compute at the edge.

The concept distributes multiple passive neuromorphic sensor nodes around a vehicle or convoy, each contributing to a shared 360-degree picture. Because the underlying sensing layer is event-based rather than frame-based, the system can tip and cue faster than conventional camera arrays while drawing a fraction of the power.

Why passive, distributed sensing matters

Active systems reveal their own position the moment they emit. A passive, layered array avoids that tradeoff entirely, while distributing sensing nodes around the vehicle removes the single points of failure and blind spots that come with a single centralized sensor.

The architecture is designed to scale from a single vehicle to a full convoy formation, with nodes sharing detections to build a common operational picture in real time.
