WingBack

HyperAcuity Module · Neuromorphic Vision · Passive

A biomimetic, neuromorphic passive optical sensor inspired by the compound eye of the dragonfly. Where conventional sensors capture frames, WingBack responds continuously — detecting brightness changes across the optical spectrum and immediately computing position, velocity, and acceleration vectors with sub-pixel precision and very low computational burden.

01
Sub-pixel hyperacuity Resolves targets below the sensor's native pixel size — enables tracking in cluttered and low-contrast environments where frame cameras fail.
02
<1 μs sensor latency No frame capture, no buffer, no pipeline delay. Outputs real-time event streams the moment a brightness change occurs.
03
Multi-target simultaneous tracking Tracks multiple fast-moving threats concurrently — drone swarms, hypersonic vehicles, ballistic micro-munitions.
04
Ultra-low SWaP-C Neuromorphic architecture and low-cost GPU integration delivers performance that outclasses larger, more expensive systems.
